这是一本走出来的书。作者立志要写一本有关新加坡地景的诗集。走路，是他采用的方式，或随步行队、或与摄影同好，或独自一人，漫游岛国，深入了解、仔细观察，四处采集资料素材。相机，是他的工具，通过镜头，审视眼中所见、直击岛国之美、纪录精彩瞬间、聚焦地景人文和历史民生。写诗，是他创作的终点，一字一句，从一帧帧照片中沉淀、感悟、联想、引申，最后串缀成自己喜欢的诗句、铺叠成自已心中狮岛地景诗。本书定名《人在狮岛，随时诗路，随时思路》，完全是因创作方式得名。诗分前辑《走在狮岛的诗路上》，后辑《走在狮岛的思路上》，各收诗二十五首，近乎首首皆配有照片，读诗之余，也同时欣赏摄影之美、认识岛国各处景观。后辑中还收录照片配搭短句的新形式创作，丰富全书内容。新加坡是作者生长的地方，摄影与诗是他的至爱，借由诗图合一的地景诗，表达了他对这片土地不能割舍的爱。
