四面牆壁，兩個門，幾扇窗，框出一個屬於老師和學生的私密空間。在這個小天地，除了知識的傳遞，更是師生結緣的地方。三十個小故事，道出一個在前線執教鞭二十二年的母語老師的喜怒哀樂。有感慨，有體悟，有成長，更有持續奮鬥的力量。每一個在課室裡，或課室外邂逅的學生；每一個觸動作者心靈的學生；都是豐富這本散文集的功臣。世界上最美麗的非血緣關係，是師生關係。能夠在學生身上種下知識和道德的種子，是一個老師最大的幸福。眾孜孜不倦的母語老師和在課室裡學習華文的學生們，希望跟你們分享這屬於老師和學生之間的故事。它淡淡的，卻滿載真情。」}
