Of the 30,000 Jews living in Riga, Latvia, only 2 women survived - a wrenching story of one woman's will to live. Rumbuli Forest was to Riga, the capital of Latvia, what Babi Yar was to Kiev and Ponary was to Vilna: a bloody massacre site where thousands of children, women, and the elderly were slaughtered by the Nazi Einsatzgruppen. Frida Michelson, a seamstress - tells the story of the events that occurred in her native town. For years she hid in the forests and among Latvian peasants and city-dwellers - members of the Seventh Day Adventists sect.
