Maybe This Is Love: A Novel

Sufiah longs to be in a loving relationship, believing that a good Muslim woman is meant for a good Muslim man. Her idea of a 'perfect destiny' is shattered when she is set to marry someone else, causing her heartbreak. She encounters Reza, who is laid-back, impulsive, and not particularly religious, coming from a very different world than hers. Despite her initial doubts about his faith and lifestyle, she finds herself increasingly attracted to him. As they spend more time together, Sufiah becomes confused and conflicted about her feelings, questioning whether her attraction is a test of her faith or her own heart. When deeper aspects of Reza's personality are revealed, she begins to re-evaluate her beliefs about love, faith, and compatibility, ultimately pondering whether two imperfect hearts can find happiness together.
