On Khidr and the Abdal

This book analyzes a specific topic in Sufism, namely, the existence of Abu'l-Abbas al-Khidr, also known as the Green Wise-Man, and discusses whether he is alive or deceased. It presents the opinions and proofs from those in favor and against, including prophetic hadiths related to the subject. The book also explores the existence of a particular category of saints known as Awliya'—specifically, the Abdal (Substitute Saints)—and considers how many there are and where they are located in the world. Additionally, it investigates other categories such as Nujaba (the Nobles), Awtad (the Spiritual Pegs), Aqtab (the Axial Saints), and the Ghawth (the Supreme Saint), who is identified as a specific individual residing in Mecca Mukarrama.
