Best of Hiroshi Nagai. A collection of self-recommended works by Hiroshi Nagai, released in 2023 and sold out immediately. It will be re-released in spring with enlarged paper cloth binding and new items. Hiroshi Nagai is a popular illustrator known for record jackets and advertisements since the 1970s, including the cover for "A Long Vacation" by Eiichi Otaki. His style is a mix of surrealism and pop art, inspired by scenes from Guam and California, reflecting nostalgic scenery. Since beginning his career in 1976, Nagai has maintained a consistent style and contributed significantly to the culture of City Pop. This book is an expanded and revised edition of his first collection, including works that showcase his signature motifs like palm trees, cars, beaches, and night views.
