Tiko And His Dragon

Tiko and his toy lizard are inseparable, until he chances upon a real lizard. Tiko traps it, names it Dragon, and convinces his parents that he’s responsible enough to look after it. However, keeping an outdoor lizard as an indoor pet requires dedication, and Tiko is often distracted by computer games. The story explores what becomes of poor Dragon, with vibrant illustrations that portray childhood antics and serve as a reminder of pet responsibility. The book shares the experiences of the author's youngest son, Ryan, and features illustrations by Vandana Tjendana, who is passionate about storytelling through her art and aims to help children connect with their emotions.
