In the summer of 2002, two amateur sailors, Griff and Bob, set off in an elderly yacht for Russia, thinking it was easier than sailing to Cornwall. They took Baines, who knew how to mend the engine. This is their story. Over four months, they visited many interesting restaurants on the Baltic seaboard, sailed to the Nordic heart, and pushed themselves to their limits before washing their sleeping bags.
